Grand Prairie Developments

Located in north Peoria, Grand Prairie Developments started with a vision and a farm field. Cullinan developed Shoppes at Grand Prairie, which opened its doors in 2002. That has been followed by development of numerous outlots in the surrounding area, which includes numerous hotels, movie theater, retail, restaurants, medical facilities, Methodist College and student housing, and the $18 million Louisville Slugger Sports Complex that draws approximately 500,000 annual visitors. The development draws from a 30-county trade area with a population in excess of 1.8 million.

Major neighboring tenants include Dicks Sporting Goods, DSW, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Old Navy, Buffalo Wild Wings and AMC Grand Prairie 18, the Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic, Apartments at Grand Prairie, Hy-Vee Supermarket, Hy-Vee Convenience Store and Gas Station and Casey’s General Store are also located at Grand Prairie Developments.  The area is home to 5 hotels, including the 113-room Holiday Inn Suites & Conference Center with a 6,000 square foot ballroom and local restaurant Suite Fire Bar + Grille.
