CULLINAN PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF $100 MILLION VA MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC IN TAMPA, FL
State-of-the-art facility will begin seeing patients in January 2024
(Peoria, IL – August 29, 2023) – Cullinan Properties is pleased to announce the completion of the 150,000 SF U.S. Tampa Veterans Affairs (VA) Mental Health Clinic in Temple Terrace, FL (Tampa MSA). The General Services Administration (GSA), in conjunction with the Department of Veterans Affairs, selected the project team consisting of developer Cullinan Properties, general contractor Hoar Construction, architecture and design firm Leo A Daly and facility manager Lincoln Harris. The $100 million project broke ground in late 2021 and will begin seeing patients in January 2024.
Conveniently located near I-75 and accessed from HWY 301, the two-story facility sits on approximately 20 acres of land. It replaces and consolidates services provided at three local hospitals into one location. The building includes a 120,000 SF clinic with 265 consult rooms, 60 patient rooms, an activities courtyard, a full-service kitchen and dining room and a social activities room. The design creates a warm, welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere that supports healing by promoting socialization and connection to community. The facility has a two-globes Green Globes rating, which is above the one-globe requirement for all VA facilities. This is an important designation that measures the environmental sustainability, health and wellness of commercial real estate projects. The project stayed on schedule and was delivered to the GSA two weeks early.
