THREE NEW TENANTS TO JOIN QUINCY MALL
(Peoria, IL – April 16, 2019) – Cullinan Properties, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of three new tenants to Quincy Mall this spring. VIP Cinemas will join the mall as a new co-anchor along with Quest Games Unlimited and Relax Quincy Spas, which provide exciting new offerings for the center and to the market.
“These new retail and entertainment tenants, in addition to the Quincy Medical Group locating new outpatient facilities at Quincy Mall, help diversify the mall, providing guests additional reasons to visit.” stated Sean Garrett, President of Acquisitions for Cullinan Properties. “Quincy Mall, with its retail, restaurant, entertainment and medical uses, is emerging as an exciting mixed-use property.”
VIP Cinemas will bring the movie going experience back to Quincy Mall. A family-owned, independent theater company, VIP Cinemas will anchor the east end of the mall. The theater company strives to provide the best possible movie-going experience at an exceptional value in a family-friendly environment. VIP Cinemas has six other locations, including Morton, Ottawa, and Macomb, IL, Gravois Mills, MO, Hopkinsville, KY and Panama City, FL.
Ticket and concession prices at VIP Cinemas will be lower than typical large-scale theaters, offering a better value for customers. The theater also plans to expand their hours in order to offer earlier movie showings. “We plan on bringing an expanded show schedule to Quincy and will have daily movies every day starting at 9:45 a.m.,” stated Jake McSparin, Vice President for VIP Cinemas. “We look forward to providing the Quincy area with additional movie times and low concession prices.”

VIP Cinemas is currently performing a cosmetic refresh and partial remodel of the space, and will install all new projection and audio equipment. The theater plans to begin showing films Memorial Day weekend.
In addition to VIP Cinemas, Quest Games Unlimited will join Quincy Mall and occupy space between The Children’s Place and Spi-Rolls Fresh Rolled Ice Cream. Quest Games Unlimited provides a space for gamers of many kinds to meet and play their games of choice, try new games, and Quest offers a stock of games and game accessories. The store also sells comics and comic subscriptions. Quest plans to host gaming events, such as Magic (The Gathering) and other role playing games throughout the week and on weekends.
Quest Games Unlimited joins Quincy Mall through the Cullinan Kickstart program, which provides assistance to entrepreneurs opening new retail businesses at the mall. The store plans to host a grand opening celebration on May 4 in honor of Star Wars Day.
Relax Quincy Spas will also be moving to Quincy Mall, having outgrown their former home on 24th Street, and will occupy the space between Jiu Jitsu Academy and Celebrations in the strip center at Quincy Mall. Relax Quincy Spas sells, installs and services hot tubs and saunas, including Viking Spas and Finnleo Saunas. The store plans to open by May 1.
