(St. Charles, August 16, 2016) – Construction of the new 180-room Drury Inn and Suites and an additional 300-car parking deck at Streets of St. Charles are both currently underway. The concrete pour for the first level of the new 7-story hotel is being completed this Friday morning, August 19th.  To celebrate the construction milestone on Friday, Streets of St. Charles will host a “first pour” gathering of representatives from Drury, Cullinan Properties and the City of St. Charles.

“We recognize the importance of the Drury development here at Streets of St. Charles, so our goal was to host a celebration that would celebrate the milestone,” said Chris West, Cullinan Partner and Chief Operating Officer. “The ‘first pour’ event will allow those who were instrumental in bringing this latest addition to our property to life the opportunity to gather as we show our appreciation for their partnership.”

Drury currently owns 20 hotels in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. The Drury Inn and Suites at Streets of St. Charles will feature King and Queen guest rooms, as well as deluxe, two-room suites which include a bedroom separated by a door from the living area. The hotel will offer guests a wide variety of amenities, including meeting spaces, a unique indoor/outdoor pool, as well as free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, and evening drink and snacks. The design will be modeled after the recently opened Brentwood location and will feature quality finishes both inside and out, including stone, glass and metal exterior finishes.

Several new tenants are also preparing for their grand openings in the coming weeks, including Orangetheory Fitness, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, and Think Pink Nail Salon. This follows the recent openings of Sole and Blues Boutique and PF Chang’s.

“There continues to be a great deal of energy and excitement surrounding Streets of St. Charles,” said West. “We’ve built a destination that’s attracting people from across the region, and the addition of the Drury will allow for an even greater draw. We look forward to celebrating this exciting phase of the project and to their opening to the public next summer.”
