Mike manages all departments for Quincy Mall, including marketing, maintenance, security, housekeeping and customer service. His responsibilities also include specialty and seasonal leasing, budgeting, property management, and all marketing and public relations efforts for Quincy Mall.
Prior to joining Cullinan Properties in 2013, Mike owned and operated MJ Burton Gifts & Engraving, an upscale engraving gift shop located in Quincy Mall from 1995 to 2013. There, he acquired in-depth knowledge and experience of both Quincy Mall and the entire Quincy community, and an innate understanding of the tenant side of the property management equation. Mike holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Quincy University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Truman State University.
Mike is a member of the Quincy Noon Kiwanis, and has been a long-time coach for and supporter of the Quincy Park District. Mike regularly won accolades for being a top store manager when employed for Things Remembered, prior to opening his own shop.
