As Chief Strategy Officer at Cullinan Properties, Maria leads corporate strategy and growth initiatives for the company’s national portfolio. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate strategy, leasing, and legal counsel, she has held leadership roles spanning top national brands and firms.
Before joining Cullinan, Maria founded and led The Hyperion Group, advising clients on real estate and growth strategies. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Real Estate at Ashley Global Retail and Vice President of Real Estate Portfolio Strategy at Ulta Beauty. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade at Retail Properties of America, Inc. (RPAI), overseeing leasing for more than 250 retail properties.
Maria holds a B.A. from Loyola University Chicago, as well as a J.D., cum laude, and an LL.M. in Information Technology and Privacy Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. In addition, she holds the Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation and is a published speaker and author on topics including technology and commercial leasing.
