As Chief Investment Officer, David leads all investment activity at Cullinan Properties with direct responsibility for acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity financing, development and construction, and investor relations. In addition, as a member of the executive team, David helps shape the overall vision and strategy for the organization.
Prior to joining Cullinan Properties, David served as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AneVista Group, a real estate private equity firm focused primarily on small format, daily-needs shopping centers. Before AneVista Group, David served as Managing Director – Acquisitions and Retail Sector Lead at LaSalle Investment Management. During his 16-year tenure at LaSalle, David was responsible for sourcing and executing more than $4 billion of acquisitions and developments across a broad range of property types, risk profiles, markets, and transaction structures, including deep experience in retail, mixed-use, office, and medical office properties. Earlier in his career, David also spent time as both a film industry executive and a health care investment banker.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in Real Estate, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He currently serves as Vice Chair for Urban Land Institute’s national Commercial and Retail Development Council and formerly served as Vice Chair for ULI’s national Office Development Council
